Join us at Luther College in Decorah, IA for our show, Traditions!
The OK Factor is honored to be on stage at Luther College, where their career as a duo first began 10 years ago!
On the heels of their joint Swedish tour in the summer of 2021 (funded in part by the American Scandinavian Foundation’s Artist Fellowship and the Swedish Arts Council), local string duo The OK Factor and Swedish folk quintet JAERV return to ASI in support of their program, Traditions.
If you’re in the mood for palpable joy, this is an evening you won’t want to miss. Throughout Traditions, unique instrumentation, deep musical talent, and a comradery born from the bands’ joint Scandinavian adventure combine to offer audiences a unique night of folk music. The bands’ respect for musical tradition is clear, as is their desire to expand its boundaries. Audience are encouraged to follow the music not just back in time, but into the future.
