This "advanced quartet" arrangement is very special to us, as it is one of the first pieces of ours we ever arranged for quartet, throughout our time in residence at Luther College, our alma mater. While the Violin I and Cello parts are almost identical to our duo arrangement, we love the expanded harmonies and playfulness the Viola and Violin II add, and the fact that the melody is passed between three of the four instruments. We feel this arrangement is best suited for players with 6+ years of playing experience.
